What is white day in Korea?
Korean white day is a holiday celebrated on march 14th in south Korea. It is a day for men to reciprocate the valentine’s day gesture from women. it began in Japan and then has spread to several other Asian nations and countries worldwide.

In the tradition of this holiday, men gifts to women who gave them chocolates on valentine’s day, as on valentine’s day women in Korea usually give chocolates to their male friends and partners.
On white day, men give women candy, chocolate, followers or jewelry thanking their women for the gifts they received on valentine’s day.

besides white day being a day for couples, in Korean it has become a part of its tradition for people to show appreciation to their friends and family too. so it become common to give gifts to friends to express gratitude and strengthen friendship in white day.
